Follow Me

While pondering the mysteries of the Universe, I am reminded of this prayer from my childhood. I wonder what they were trying to tell us, really.

“I believe in one God, the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible: …”

The concept of “visible and invisible” is remarkably consistent through dozens of religions, and various versions of the Credo. Modern physics discards the invisible as somehow less physical than the visible. Once, we were less skeptical, and now, with the tools to make the invisible visible, we reject the possibility that it exists, replacing it with ad hoc explanations that can only be accepted by abandoning logic and common sense. One of the goals of this site has been to reawaken an awareness that there is more to reality than what we can see and measure. “There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy.”

Some years ago, I found a paperback copy of “The Gnostic Gospels: The Lost Books of the Bible”. I lost the book ages ago, but one passage stuck with me. The Master was having a Socratic discussion with His disciples and He told them, “All is rest and motion.” How different is that, really, from the interpretation that the Universe consists of a real, static, rectlinear 4-space with a hyperimaginary, dynamic, curvilinear 4-space holographically superimposed. The two are related by the complex gudermannian and hyperbolic trigonometry. That completely describes special relativity, as detailed herein. In this presentation, I have only discussed relative velocity effects, but it turns out that hyperbolic trigonometry is also well suited to discussions of acceleration, too. I cannot promise that everything I’ve written here is correct, because, to mainstream science, it is all heresy, just like Gnosticism was to the pagan Romans. They won’t even consider it. But, the implications are clear, if it is correct, it could be our “Stairway to Heaven”. If it is possible, I will lead us to the stars. I swear to God!
